Kicks, Turns, Leaps - In Motion
Proven Method
Mastered The Moves
But Struggling on Stage?
Has your daughter mastered the moves, but the moment she steps on stage, the wobbles appear?
- She falls out of turns.
- Loses balance.
- Struggles to link everything together.
And suddenly, all that hard work doesn’t translate when it matters most. Here’s a truth most dancers are never told. Doing movements on their own isn’t enough. A dancer’s future depends on how well they can connect those movements in motion.
Why This Matters More Than You Think
When dancers can’t link movements smoothly and consistently, mistakes start creeping in during:
- Solos
- Exams
- Performances
- Eisteddfods
And those mistakes often lead to:
- Missed opportunities
- Not being selected
- Lost scholarships
- Negative adjudicator feedback
- Underwhelming marks and results
Over time, this almost always leads to something deeper, a loss of confidence or giving up something they once loved.
AÂ Feeling I Know to Well
I could do all the moves.
My kicks were there.
My turns were there.
My leaps were there.
But when it came time to perform, I couldn’t link them together.
My dances weren't connected.
Mistakes appeared under pressure.
My performance never felt consistent.
Until one teacher changed everything.
The Light bulb Moment
That teacher was Gina Brescianini.
Gina wasn’t just an exceptional educator, she danced professionally for over 10 years on stages around the world. And she was able to identify what no one else had.
She saw that while I could execute every required movement on its own, I couldn’t perform them fluidly in motion.
That’s why mistakes were showing up in competitions.
That’s why my solos weren’t flowing.
That’s why my performances lacked polish and consistency.
This was the final piece of the puzzle.
What Changed
Once I addressed this missing link, everything shifted.
My technique finally shone through my dances.
My competition results improved.
I began performing consistently.
And most importantly, I gained confidence in myself as a dancer.
That experience is exactly why the Movement in Motion Program was created.
Why This Program Exists
The Movement in Motion Program is designed to teach dancers how to connect their skills seamlessly, confidently, and consistently, so technique doesn’t fall apart under pressure. This is where strength, control, balance, and alignment come together inside real choreography. It’s the difference between a dancer who can “do the moves” and a dancer who can perform them.
What This Means For Your Daughter
Technique That Transfers
Into Full Choreography
She links her movement, technique, and timing smoothly and confidently, without rushing, wobbling, or losing control under pressure.
Kicks, Turns & Leaps That Hold Together on Stage
Her kicks stay controlled, her turns stay centred, and her leaps stay powerful as she moves through complete routines, not just isolated exercises.
Results That Reflect
Her True Ability
Confidence That Grows
With Consistency
When her dancing feels reliable, from kicks to turns to leaps, her confidence grows in class, on stage, and within herself.

About Lucinda
I’m a former professional dancer, RAD-registered teacher, qualified PDHPE teacher, and the founder of VR The Movement. I help young dancers build the strength, flexibility, and confidence they need to feel proud of their progress.
I wasn’t naturally strong or flexible growing up so I understand exactly what it feels like to work hard, try your best, and still feel stuck. I also know how frustrating that can be for both dancers and parents.
The truth is, most dance schools simply don’t have the time to slow down and teach the deep fundamentals. Classes move fast. There’s choreography to learn, exams to prepare for, and very little space to focus on the technique, strength foundations, and flexibility training dancers truly need.
That’s where my programs come in.
After training at Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy and The Australian Ballet School, dancing professionally with The Washington Ballet, completing my Royal Academy of Dance qualification, and teaching for more than 12 years, I’ve developed a clear, supportive way of teaching that makes everything easier to understand.
I break movements down, help dancers feel what their bodies should be doing, and give them the tools to improve safely, consistently, and with confidence.
VR The Movement is a place where dancers feel supported, encouraged, and genuinely cared for.

Your child won’t get lost in the crowd. I’m here to guide them, believe in them, and help them achieve real progress they can see, feel, and be proud of.
